1973 Dodge Charger Rallye Engine Options and Specifications

In 1973 the Dodge Charger Rallye could be ordered with five different engines.

For the 1973 Charger Rallye, the 318 2 barrel engine was the standard engine. Four engine options were available including the 340 4 barrel, the 400 2 barrel, the 400 4 barrel and the 440 4 barrel.

In 1973 the 318 2-barrel was the standard engine for the Charger Rallye. There was some minor differences in the rated horsepower rpm and torque from the year before.

The 440 High Performance 4-barrel was available for the 1973 Charger Rallye. The engine’s horsepower and compression ratio remained the same but the torque slightly increased from the previous year.
