1974 Plymouth Duster 360 Engine Specifications

In 1974 the Plymouth Duster 360 came with only one engine.

For the 1974 Plymouth Duster 360, the 360 high performance 4 barrel engine was the standard engine. No other engine options were available. The engine was rated at 245 horsepower at 4,800 RPM and 320 ft. lbs. of torque at 3,600 RPM. The engine had a 8.4:1 compression ratio.

1974 Plymouth Duster 360 With a 360 4-barrel

The 360 4-barrel was the only engine for the 1974 Plymouth Duster 360.

This was the first time it was available for the Duster model. The 360 4 barrel replaced the 340 4 barrel.

The rated horsepower, 245 @ 4,800, was five more than the 340 from the previous year. The rated torque, 320 @ 3,600 rpm was also more than the 340 engine. The 360 shared the same camshaft as the 340 engine.
