The 413 Max Wedge was only produced for one year, 1962. Therefore, only 1962 B-body Plymouth and Dodge cars came with the 413 Max Wedge.

There was some exceptions. The B-body station wagons, Police and taxi cars were not available with a 413 Max Wedge engine.

All the 1962 B-body cars were a new design. Although the ’62 car models existed prior, the new B-body cars were smaller and lighter.

The lighter ’62 B-body cars gave the Max Wedge a competitive advantage on the dragstrip.
